From what I read is all you can do is copy and paste Scan File to external SD card and unmount it and save it, however  BMW Files are already taking up space on my external sd card and that once the system updates to a higher numeric version  level, the Scan file backup done with an earlier lower numeric version system, the  backup will no longer get authorization to be used and function as  backup software any longer out of your free update period.
